What is Art Rigging?
Rigging is used when the objects we are moving are too big to be lifted by our men and require the assistance of machinery. At WOOD-LEE, our riggers will attach the pieces securely to the machine lifts so that the objects may be raised much higher than humans are capable. When we hoist an object with rigging it is more easily manipulated and even makes it possible to put objects on the roofs of buildings or brought inside through high windows. Our riggers have to be excellent communicators so that nothing is damaged, and no one is injured throughout this precarious process.
