Create a Crate

WOOD-LEE International Art Handler has a custom crate building shop on-site at our warehouse. Our shop is able to build a crate of any size or preferred material. While wood is traditionally what fine object crates are made from, we also offer Coroplast, a lighter and stronger material (along with many other benefits). We can create crates for any need, even going overseas or just shipping continental. Sometimes, to help save customers money, instead of building a brand new crate from scratch we are able to retrofit an older crate we have in storage to suit the piece’s needs; a good crate will ensure the object is fitted tightly and the object inside will not move during transportation, if none of ours are the correct size we will recommend a custom build. We are able to craft crates that safely house multiple works; shipping individually will cost more due to additional weight and space. Whatever a customer’s needs may be, shipping just one piece or a whole collection, we are able to suit them to make sure the work remains safe.
