Disaster Preparedness
WOOD-LEE International Art Handler is well trained in Disaster Preparedness. While we do all that we can to prevent any man-made disasters on our account, unfortunately, natural disasters are unavoidable and the best we can do is be as prepared as possible on how to handle them when they occur. We constantly keep our facilities up-to-date and certified so that any faulty equipment can be taken care of promptly. To ensure safety of our crew for any disaster, all of our staff must know the layout of the building with escape routes and the locations of all alarms and extinguishers. Our crew plans a course of action by assessing the damage that has been caused by any disaster, stabilizing the environment, and prioritizing the salvageable items. We keep our Disaster Plan readily available in the office, this critical book contains emergency numbers for all our employees and local emergency services. Our Disaster Plan also includes outlines of helpful evacuation procedures for any type of damages that could occur. WOOD-LEE does our best to make sure to minimize any damaging effects a disaster might cause.
